Fall Phantasm Parking Crew
Seeking reliable crew members for Entrance Check-In & Parking for the arts and music festival, Fall Phantasm, on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at Lakenenland Sculpture Park in Marquette, Michigan.
The Fall Phantasm is the flagship event of non-profit Marquette Fringe, entering its fifth year in production. On the day of the festival, no public parking is permitted on-site at Lakenenland, and instead we reserve the space for crew, volunteers, vendors, artists, campers, and VIP ticketholders. Our Check-In and Parking crew are imperative for the function and safety of the Fall Phantasm. They are the greeting point for every participant who helps create the festival, and the logistics that enable the thousands of attendees who shuttle in to experience the magic of this day.
Commitment Details:
- Informal Phone Interview with Production Director
- Review of Information & Details Document
- Attendance of Virtual Check-In Crew Q&A Meeting (9/7-9/20 exact date and time TBD, factoring your availability)
- One preemptive on-site visit and training (9/21-10/2 exact date and time TBD, factoring your availability)
- Day of:
- Arrive onsite at Lakenenland 10 minutes prior to your scheduled shift
- 8hrs on-duty (breaks & food provided)
- Arrive prepared to be outside and on your feet
- Comfortable footwear
- Appropriate clothing & layers for a variety of weather conditions (sun, wind, rain, cold)
Job Duties:
- Verify Access to on-site parking via provided credentials and access lists
- Distribute VIP & Backstage wristbands to those with proper credentials
- Accurate upkeep of access lists and camping arrivals
- Direct on-site access vehicles to correct loading, parking, and/or camping areas
- Redirect anyone without on-site access to off-site parking area and shuttles
- Work with shuttle drivers to stop/direct traffic as needed for shuttle access
- Direct traffic through parking lots and along access roads
- Direct efficient parking in lots
- Communicate via radio with other safety crew members in parking, camping, first-aid, and site management as needed
- In case of emergency, communicate with other Safety Team members and emergency response personnel
