On October 2nd, 2021, Marquette Fringe orchestrated a Phantasm: a spell of communal magic. In partnership with Joyful Terror, Pyre Publishing, and descendants of the former Marquette Spectacle, we invited the community to join us for potions, music, costumes, and fae mischief all brewed together into an immersive theatrical experience.

Actors guided the audience through a story interspersed with musical performances from local favorites: Sycamore Smith, Log Jam, Streaking in Tongues, and DJ Andrew Conway. Attendees were invited to dress up as their favorite fae folk and delve into the deep magicks of the forest through vendors, games, an elixir bar, campfire stories, and a full-on parade through the dark, foggy trails of Lakenenland.
