Raised on science, science fiction, and fantasy, L. W. Crider has always had a passion for mixing the real and unreal. Moving from the Detroit area to the Upper Peninsula to study at Michigan Tech, where she combined both technical and creative skills, she now works as a technical writer at the university and lives in Hancock, where she is a Rotarian and a member of the Great Lakes Horror Writers Association.
